*    Born into a Sikh family on 31st March 1903, Jaswant Singh Khoji’s journey took a transformative turn during his service in the Indian Army in Burma.

 

*    Inspired by the writings of Sikh scholars like Professor Puran Singh and Bhai Vir Singh, he embraced Sikhism wholeheartedly.

*    After retiring from the Army, he founded the Sikh congregation camps movement bringing seekers together for spiritual gatherings. He passed away from his heavenly abode on 5th June, 1999.

 

Sikh Congregation Camps Movement:

*    Jaswant Singh initiated regular congregations in various villages, culminating in annual 2-10 day camps in Dodra and Doraha, Punjab.

*    These gatherings emphasized spiritual principles, community and devotion to Sikh concepts.

*    The Dodra and Doraha Gurdwaras, established by him, continue to serve as centers of spiritual nourishment. He is the founder of Braham Bunga Trust (Regd.) 1983 and also the founder of “Naam Simran Camps” held in Delhi, Faridabad, Jammu, Amritsar, Ludhiana and various other parts of the country.

An illuminated soul introduced me to Gurbani during the early years of my life and as I delved into and followed Gurbani, I started realising that we had not been able to understand the inner meaning and secrets of Gurbani. That is why, we are unable to realize the value of this 'celestial message As Gurbani belongs to celestial realm, it is laden with amazing spiritual enlightenment This could be known, understood and realized only through 'intuitive experiences' which is beyond the grip of mental faculties. That is why our daily living is distant or contradictory to the inner spiritual concept advocated in Gurbani We do not follow the spiritual doctrines and practice the teachings of the Guru, thereby immersing our egoistic mind in materialistic consciousness. Evidently, for the past 500 years, our daily life reflects that despite the unending Recitation, Elucidation Discourses, Thoughtfulness, and Singing of Gurbani our mental and religious stature has deteriorated, instead of elating. We have used Gurbani for Recitation Rituals Socialising Selfishness Commercialising Self-Puffery Music skills (Ragas) Discussion, knowledge Elucidation, Article writing Book publishing Self-image Ego-boosting. And we have remained devoid of Celestial meanings Inner emotions, Emotional flights, Spiritual heights, Intuitive Knowledge, Spiritual secrets, Disguised clues enshrined, Gurbani shows us the way to: Self enlightenment Spiritual feelings Disguised secrets Core Knowledge Celestial Music, Celestial Song, Celestial Bliss, Wondrous, Game Amazing Flashes Divine Love Divine Play 'Naam' Wordless World Divine Will Nectar Intuitive-word To which we remain Ignorant Unattentive Careless Self- deceptive, Obstinate Disobedient And are not able to enjoy the divine gifts of our spiritual heritage of sublime love Eternal Nectar Divine Silence, Devotional Love, Divine Play, Spiritual Intoxication, Spiritual Awakening, Divine Grace, Celestial Blessings. While studying and contemplating on Gurbani through Simran, I felt overwhelmed to present its inner intuitive aspects to the masses. This inspiration led to the start of Satsang samagams in the year 1960's, First while in service and then after retirement in Punjab. Initially these samagams were held in different villages every month and later on after a gap of 2-3 weeks. Gradually, these samagams expanded to Haryana, Delhi, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, MP, Maharashtra, Canada, USA, England, East Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore & Australia. These samagams are being held since 1976 in great enthusiasm. In these samagams, only hymns from Gurbani are sung and the intuitive meanings are elucidated. Except Gurbani, no other topic is touched upon. These fortnightly samagams in villages and cities create an aura of living divine bliss and spiritual awakening. Gurdwara Brahm Bunga Sahib, Village Dodra, Distt. Mansa (Punjab) India, has become the nodal point for Sadh Sangat. Satsang Samagams of 8 days durations, held in March and September each year while in the month of December, a special 11-day long samagam is held. Spiritual aspirants from all over the Globe come to attend them. At Gurdwara Brahm Bunga Sahib, 'Nam Simran', 'Nitnem', 'Gurbani kirtan, 'Gurbani Vichar (Elucidation of Gurbani) is held every day along with Guru Ka Langar. During these samagams, Baptism ceremony (Amrit Pan) is performed several times for the aspirants. Thousands have been baptised so far. These living divine samagams radiate divine wisdom, love lore, devotional love and selfless service which infects many aspiring souls who feel the ecstasy of divine love and glory. This exquisitive joy of divine touch is a new intuitional experience, which gives a new internal direction and their life is transformed. Gurdwara Brahm Bunga Sahib is not owned by any individual, Saint, Sadhu or Mahant. Its affairs are managed by Brahm Bunga Trust (Regd.). I felt distressed at the ignorance and apathy of general masses towards inner secrets and emotions of Gurbani and sighed to see them being devoid of divine experiences, nectar, hidden meanings and divine knowledge. Deep down the earth, the fire simmers and when it boils, the earth shakes which is called earthquake. When this lava explodes, it is called eruption of volcano and it spreads all around. Similarly, a Divine flame of Gurbani given to me by an illuminated soul, kept simmering slowly and slowly deep within me and one day it erupted with a flamboyant velocity. These living 'Satsang Samagams' are inspired by the same powerful flow of persuasion by the inner soul and have become vibrant and alive. As a result, the 'Brahm Bunga Sahib' came into being where dynamic waves of inner spiritual feelings, divine grace and devotional love are spreading This inner divine presence intensified in the form of dynamic spiritual waves which could not sustain into myself. Therefore, this fiery divine presence has now erupted and manifested in the form of Gurbani Vichar writings. In fact, these Gurbani Vichar writings are the, boiling, jumping erupting roaring enlightening current lava with will submission of the divine flame of the Almighty. In other words, these writings are expression of the Almighty through this fragile body frame and humble wisdom and also a reflection and presence of divine grace. Yes, these writings are expressions of Intuitive Reflections Amazing flashes of Reflections Deep spiritual feelings Powerful flow of feelings Vibrant speed Surging Waves Rainbow of Surge The Rhythmic Motion Outburst of Love Feelings of Love Sublime nectar Since I did not have formal education in Gurmukhi or studied any dictionary or translations or have undergone 'Giani' courses, at times it was difficult for me to answer mail in Gurmukhi. But, with divine grace, I was able to interpret the deep, hidden and inner meanings of Gurbani. This way Sat Guru gave me the honor by assigning the sublime task to my own limited knowledge and aging body. The shortcomings or errors in the 'Gurbani Vichar' writings, if any, are only due to my own limited knowledge and ignorance, for which I beg to be pardoned.

Every year three main Satsang Samagams are held at Gurdwara Sahib., Brahm Bunga, Dodra; as follows: MONTH DURATION MARCH 8 DAYS, SEPTEMBER 8 DAYS, DECEMBER 11 DAYS (20-30 December, Fixed Dates). In addition, 2 days Samagams are held after every fortnight in different villages/cities of Punjab and other parts of India. Also, Satsang Samagams are held at Delhi, Faridabad, Mohali, Chandigarh, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Moga, Jalandhar etc. by local Sangats twice a week in different Gurudwaras OFFLATE BIWEEKLY SAMAGAMS ARE ALSO HELD AT GURDWARA BRAHM BUNGA SAHIB DORAHA (LUDHIANA).

“A SMALL EPISODE OF HOW BAUJI MET HIS MASTER (GURMUKH SINGH)”

Bauji was in Burma (Myanmar) in the army (civilian)

Army officials use to go to India for recruiting people The team came to Punjab for selections (in a fleet of Army trucks).

They selected few hundred people and told them all to get in to the trucks so as to proceed to Burma.

While loading people in the trucks they told everyone to get in, This GURMUKH Singh had come to see off his friend he too was told to get into the truck actually he was crippled from his leg and on reaching Burma officials realized the mistake, however it was too late, so they asked him, does he know Gurdwara routines? Perhaps they can keep him in the army Gurdwara as a Granthi.

So he was kept as a granthi.

He actually was an enlightened soul and as per him he had come to the Army on divine mission (to bless Bauji JASWANT SINGH KHOJI with the enlightenment).

They both became friends by cosmic attraction.

Bauji would spend all his nights with this GURMUKH SINGH (by crossing from the window without the knowledge of his family and would return back to his room from the same window before dawn).

Their relationship increased day by day and ultimately he was advised to get baptized as his soul was ready (ripened) for the final event.

In those days there were no PANJ PYARA (holy five who baptized the Sikhs in Burma, so he went on a three months leave to Amritsar (Punjab India) to get baptized.

On his return from India, he was fully enlightened GURMUKH SINGH had passed away this divine duty for which he had come to Burma was fulfilled).”

Being a ray of Infinite Light - The Prime Soul, the journey or flight of the human soul extends to infinity. There are infinite realms through which the soul has to pass on its way to Eternity. The infinite Divine Power is inherent and is latent in every soul. We have only to tap the fountain of this Divine Power within our Souls to become channels for the projection of Infinite Spiritual Power. When the soul is enlightened by the Grace of God, and intuitionally ushered into the Divine Realm, it is filled with all the sublime attributes of Divinity, and Divine Power flows through it smoothly and effortlessly. The enlightened soul inherits and acquires dynamic Spiritual Power which overshadows all other worldly and psychic powers with its effulgence and glory. Our intellectual gymnastics and earnest reasonings to prove one very abstract point, or its opposite, exude an air of unreality. Such mind boggling logical exploits may be the professional philosopher's excursion, but definitely the common man's despair! This Spiritual "Science of the Soul' can only be realized and experienced through inner "Intuition' or the innate Divine intelligence of the Soul. In fact, it is the transformation and transmutation of our consciousness, from materialistic world to the Realm of Divine Grace and Light. Any religion or faith which deviates, distracts and diverts our attention and belief from the above mentioned genesis of Divine Truth, is a 'misnomer' and is not worth being called a religion! The profound confusion, frustration, unhappiness, sorrow and misery prevailing in the world, is a direct result of misunderstanding, misconception, confusion bigotry, and hypocrisy of the so-called professed religions! To clear the mind of dogmatic theological debris, it is essential to attune it to the Divine Vision within, which alone can guide us through the worldly consciousness of the cosmos, to the Divine Consciousness. This is the only way to transcend the sordid (disgusting) world of the illusive Maya, and find refuge and solace in the Divine Realm.

We are in deep coma under the spell of illusive Maya and Ego with the help and guidance of inspired and illuminated Souls and their personal magnetic infection, the Consciousness of our Souls can be Awakened. Worldly and religious knowledge are ‘the Means' and 'not’ the fulfilment of the soul.

When Mind is concentrated and turned inwards by meditation-it is ushered into the Divine Realm by the grace of the Guru, and 'Intuitional consciousness is awakened and developed.

The soul is so charmed and exhilarated with every exquisite note thrilling tune continuous rhythm celestial song of the Divine symphony that it is exalted and infatuated to dance to the tune of the Divine Music.

In this infatuating and ecstatic state of consciousness, Mind is spontaneously tuned to the Divine Will, and work in conjunction with the Divine Law In fact in this intoxicated State of mind, Man is unable to think or act with his own individual will.

Even a faint 'intuitional experience' of the celestial Music, can so charm and infatuate the soul, that the mind is ushered at once into the Divine Realm, and is trans-muted into an 'instrument’ of the Eternal Divine Music In other words our mind must be influenced inspired re-oriented grafted exalted infatuated intoxicated magnetized by the Divine Music, comprising :- Divine Will, Divine Law, Divine Kindness, Divine Love, Divine Grace, Divine Glory, Divine Joy, instrument of the Divine Symphony, to become an and to act in-tune with the Divine Will.

Our intellectual knowledge can take us at best to the outer court yard of Divinity and no further. Only intuitional Divine knowledge can introduce and usher us into Divine Realm. Divine intelligence is the all-in-all, complete, perfect sublime light and knowledge, from which our little brains derive light and knowledge. Divine intelligence, being the Mother of all intelligence, is the only knowledge worth learning and acquiring and all other knowledge will follow by reflection.

Personality is the essence of cumulative effect of our thoughts and actions of past and present lives.

‘Every physical sensation or thought leaves a permanent trace among the 10000 cells of the brain. These traces in the brain are permanently and constantly accumulating and their sum-total is our Personality and Character Everything We do, makes it easier to do the same thing again. This is because electric currents record all that happens to us by creating pathways among the cells of the brain. The more frequent any action is performed, the deeper and broader these pathways become.

Therefore, we are spinning our good or bad Never-to-be-undone! Every smallest-stroke of Virtue or Vice leaves behind Never-so-little Scar. On our mind..

The drunkard excuses himself for every fresh dereliction by saying, "I won't count this time" Well he may not count it, but it is being counted None-the-less! Down among his Nerve cells and fibres are counting it, registering and storing it up-to-be used against-him! When there comes next temptation.

"Divine intelligence is, all-in-all, complete, perfect, sublime, infinite-light and knowledge, from which our little brains derive limited light and knowledge. But somehow, we have become forgetful, ignorant and Un-conscious of our Divine Heritage, and had been cultivating and magnifying the idea and concept of our false Ego-through the expression of ‘I’, 'Me' and ‘Mine' for aeons and countless past lives.

This false ‘Ego' of ‘I' and ‘Me' has permeated deep into our very 'Being', and we become "Ego Personified Individuals".

The pity of it is that, in our ignorance this false conception has become such a deep conviction and faith with us that we are reluctant to listen, entertain or believe in anything, contradictory to our egoistic ideas.

Our mental profession and practice of religion has become superfluous and self-deceiving. In fact we are living DUAL lives.

With our little false ‘Ego’, We have blocked the incessant Divine Flow into our Mind and consciousness, and thereby deprived ourselves of all the Divine blessings of JOY, BLISS, LOVE and GRACE.

In the degree, we again become intuitionally conscious of our Divine Heritage through inward, deep meditation and company of Awakened and Illuminated Souls-and partake and enjoy the Divine blessings of Joy, Peace, Bliss and Love- we spontaneously express and propagate the Divinity, through ourselves, (Like the fragrance and beauty emanating from the Rose), and thereby the "LORD" is again enthroned in our hearts, and is Glorified through us.

The tragedy of humanity is that the exalted Human being, created by God in his own image, has degenerated to such a low-degree, that he has lost the sense of discrimination of right and wrong, truth and falsehood, and virtue and vice and has become indifferent or immune to the higher inspiration of Morality or Religion. In fact humanity is suffering from the Crises of Faith in Moral, Religious and Spiritual Values of Life.

Our so called beliefs and faiths are based on flimsy dogmatic mental ideas and hypothesis, which change from time to time, according to outer circumstances, and have No Roots in True Eternal Changeless Foundation of Divinity.

We are all prodigal sons of God, and deprived ourselves of our Divine Heritage of JOY, BLISS and LOVE, by our own ignorance disbelief and faithlessness.

The moment we become intuitionally conscious of our Divine Heritage- The flow of Divine grace will be re-established into our hearts and souls, and we will be blessed with the Eternal, JOY, BLISS and LOVE of Divine grace.

Our intellectual approach to outer dogmatic religion can at best, take us to the outer court-yard of Divine Realm of God, but is unable to introduce and usher our souls into the Inner Mansions of God's Kingdom,

The personal contact or company is the easiest and quickest way of conveying thoughts and influencing others. The affect of such influence of thoughts is dependent on the intensity and conviction of one's feelings on the one side, and the receptibility of the other mind.

Hence persons of developed minds with deep conviction and strong faith, can influence and infect weaker minds with their thoughts. Where vocal exhortations or intellectual propaganda fail to leave any sustaining mark on the minds of the audience, the presence very of a dynamic personality can silently Inspire and transform the lives of individuals, with their penetrating spiritual rays and vibrations, constantly emanating from their higher spiritual souls.

The same principle applies to the intuitional writings of the great souls, which are ever fresh, original and soul-stirring, call them saints or sages or God-men' - if you like.

If cultivated powerful mind can affect the ordinary mind so deeply on the mental and emotional plane, the illumined divine souls can also inspire, awaken and ignite the aspiring souls and usher them into the subtle intuitional plane. If the Laser rays can penetrate through thick metals, and the destructive rays of the 'lightening' can do so much. havoc on the physical plane, the volatile spiritual subtle rays of divine vibrations, emanating from the dynamic personality of a 'God-man', can pierce the thick walls of materialistic ideas and intellectual conceptions, and touch the divine fringes of the soul of the aspirant, and usher him into the divine realm. Thus the silent rays of divinity can transform the life of an aspiring soul into a spiritual God-man, having been reborn into the divine realm.

This is the direct way of 'introduction' into the divine realm but the most difficult part of it is finding a True Illuminated soul, as they are rare and far between.

Where there is no light of Divine knowledge or God,

There is darkness of ignorance. Therefore this darkness has no existence. Light and darkness are antithetic and opposite, and thus cannot co-exist. Darkness has no power to produce light.

God is the only Divine light which manifests through Guru, Prophet and His ‘WORD’.

All our thoughts, desires, efforts and actions revolve around our selfishness of 1, me, and mine. People who think and act unselfishly are rare exceptions.

We are 'extroverts, and as such, we can see, feel and appreciate only the un-common, un-usual 'exoteric' psychic phenomena, and call them "Miracles'.

To 'confine' the greatness of the Guru to a few exoteric phenomena is to ‘Limit’ their Divine Power and glory. Thus, in our ignorance, we unconsciously depreciate the Divinity of Gurus!

In this way- we 'fail to grasp and appreciate the sublime Divine glory and grace of the Gurus, and thereby 'deprive ourselves' of the inner intuitional inspiration and experience

All virtues and noble pursuits, are the reflections and attributes of spirituality, and have roots in Divinity.

Similarly, all lower thoughts and actions, and resultant 'evils'-are the reflections and attributes of 'Maya'- expressed and (projected) through our false Egoistic conception of 'I', 'ME' and 'MINE'.

All mankind's problems stem from man's disobedience of God's unchanging and compassionate Laws, and only man's perversity keeps him from becoming the creature, God Intended him for be.

The world does not enjoy peace and happiness because it is more materialistic than Godly.

Jealousies, prejudices, hatred and selfishness-deprive the society of peace, happiness and heavenly Bliss and Love.

Men go through their lives without Joy, Bliss and love, because they are ignorant and unconscious of their Divine Heritage, and are isolated from the inspiring, blissful, loving Flow of Divine stream of God's Grace.

In this degree, thoughts are again spiritualised, so they become better and powerful-with reflections from Divine Light and Grace; and we become 'Channels' for the outward flow and expression of all noble virtues and sublime attributes of kindness, compassion, Joy, Bliss, Love and Grace of God, This spiritualising is in accordance with the Divine law of Grace and is within the power of all.

Man is incessantly weaving his own good or bad world, inside and around himself, by his own thoughts, like a silkworm, and suffers the consequences of his own thoughts and deeds thereby creating his own fate and destiny.

Influence of our CONTACT with, and COMPANY of the surrounding world, and our’s thought world have profound affect in moulding or changing our thoughts, beliefs or consciousness, which form the basis of our good or bad lives, fate and destiny.

It is obvious that the important and crucial point of our Egoistic lives is the INFLUENCE OF THE COMPANY we keep-which can MAKE or MAR our fate.

Therefore it is apparent that a sublime 'company', is imperative and essential for change or transformation of our consciousness.

This transformation in our thoughts, beliefs and conceptions, can be brought only through the 'company' of Awakened, Illuminated and Blessed souls.

When this transformation of our consciousness takes place, our soul is awakened and illuminated with the Divine Light and Glory and the darkness of the false egoistic illusion ‘Bal!’ spontaneously FADE AWAY- just as the darkness of night fades away on the rising of the SUN.

It is matter of substitution of darkness with light and not destruction of darkness.

Every thought that passes through our mind, leaves an indelible trace-amongst the million cells of our brain. These trace! I are unconsciously and constantly accumulating in our mental computer-which affect and shape thoughts, conception, and faith. Their sum-total is manifested in our habits, character and Personality.

90 per cent of this PERSONALITY is made-up of, and dependent on, our inner mental, emotional and spiritual qualities. Only 10% is attributable to outer features and factors.

Everything we do makes it easier to do the same thing over again. This is because-electric currents record all that happened to us-by creating path-ways or grooves-among the cells of our brain. The more frequently thoughts and actions are repeated-the deeper and broader, the grooves become!

Every smallest stroke of virtue or vice-leaves behind 'never-so-little scar on our mind-good or bad".

In other words. Man is concessantly weaving his own good or bad world around himself by his own thoughts and deeds, thus shaping his own Fate and Destiny. Thought have tremendous powers, which can be developed to un-limited degree-by repetition, contemplation concentration and meditation.

The lower depraved thoughts should be forgotten or brushed aside at once, as they come-by diverting the mind to higher, nobler and inspiring thoughts. If these depraved thoughts are not forgotten or diverted, in the first instance, and are entertained and cultivated they percolate and penetrate deep into mind and sub-consciousness. Gradually in course of time, they become insidious and powerful-to make us corrupt, depraved and vulgar-with a trail of lower elements of selfishness, envy, prejudice, avarice, jealousy, hatred, anger, egocentric, aggressive, wicked and cruel, and what not! The easiest and quickest way:-

1.     to get out of this vicious circle of depraved and harmful thoughts, and

2.     to save ourselves from the horrible consequences of these

 

vicious thoughts is-

1.     to replace and substitute them with higher, nobler & inspiring thoughts

2.     to divert our mind to sublime contemplation and meditation

3.     to seek Awakened and Enlightened Souls and imbibe sublime inspirations in their holy company

But the crucial point is to develop inner discriminating power whereby we can distinguish between:-

Right and Good and Virtue and Vice Morality and Spirituality and Love and God and Bad Sin Materialism, Hate, Devil, and make the important choice of future course for higher and nobler lives. Without this discrimination and choice, our lives are like compass-less and radar-less 'ships' drifting about aimlessly and knocked about and batterd by storms and vagaries of the vast ocean to:-

1 develop the power of discrimination,

2. making decision of crucial choice of life-course,

3. taking a turning point of life,

4. walking on title chosen course of life,

inspiration, help and guidance of Enlightened and Blessed Souls is necessary rather essential.

It is really difficult and tardy to adopt and work the REVERSE process of New Course of Nobler life-but it becomes easy and smooth in the company of Illuminated and Enlightened Souls.

As the Reverse process takes place in our life our mind is gradually purified and spiritualised in the Sadh sangat, and becomes amenable and conductive to the sublime influence of subtle vibrations of Divine Light and Grace.

At the same time the influence of 'materialism' is imperceptibly reduced and eliminated from our consciousness.

The more thoughts are spiritualised by sublime company and meditation, the more they become subtler, powerful and dynamic-with reactions from Divine Light and Grace.

Ultimately, when our souls are awakened and illuminated by the Grace of Guru- we, in turn, become channel or 'pipe-line' for the :-

1. outward flow, and

2. expression of

all Divine attributes of JOY, BLISS, LOVE and COM-PASSION thereby inspiring, helping and guiding other aspiring souls.

The Divine inheritance of capabilities and prospects for the development of Man's personality is one of the most affluent wonders of Divine Grace.

We are so deeply engrossed and lost in the brilliant, awe-inspiring, exoteric scientific WONDERS-that we have no leisure or inclination to think about or do any research for the most fascinating, joyful, blissful, eternal divine WONDERS inherent in our souls. In other words-the outer materialistic scientific research, is being carried out, at the 'expense' of the Really Wonderful esoteric science of the Soul.

We have, in fact, achieved tremendous materialistic gains for our temporary comforts and fleeting enjoyments, and to satisfy the pride of our Egoistic-self, but have thereby forgotten or become Indifferent to, our Divine Heritage of eternal inner peace, Joy, bliss, blessings and Love of Divine grace.

The more our thoughts are concentrated and condensed the more our mind become powerful and dynamic, with which many psychic phenomena can be performed.

These so called un-common, psychic phenomena are the outcome exhibition and projection of concentrated and condensed thoughts and intense feelings-good or bad, and should be relegated to the 'Min d Power' only.

But in our ignorance-we have extolled these psychic phenomena and given them religious and spiritual colours.

 

To use our mind power:

1. for our Selfish ends,

2. to exhibit it to feed or boost our ego,

3. to entertain the curiosity of people,

4. to propagate and exalt religious or spiritual personality,

5. to attract and allure large number of followers,

is to interfere in the natural flow of Divine Life-Current, and is therefore un- natural, harmful and sinful against the Divine Will.

Spiritual aspirant observes with awe and wonder that the Divine Life Current is running through every particle of the cosmos, under the eternal Law of Divine Will, and he himself is only One of the tiny Pieces of the Divine Pipe-Line, through which the Infinite Divine Current is flowing incessantly to manifest, express or exhibit the awe-inspiring, thrilling. wonderful miracles, prevailing in, and engulfing the cosmos.

We are so charmed and obsessed by miracles of psychic phenomena, that we fail to grasp and appreciate the Real esoteric Wonders of Divine Bliss and Love, incessantly flowing through, engulfing and manifesting in, every particle of the Cosmos. Thereby we deprive ourselves of the awe-inspiring thrilling. intoxicating, Inner Institutional experience of Divine Grace.

The Life process of all creatures (except human beings) is silently and secretly governed and activated by the Divine Law, whereby natural evolution of their souls is worked out and sublimated. They are not subject to the Karmic Law- as they do not think or act under Conscious Ego. Their limited 'Ego' is influenced, controlled and directed by the Divine Law For example, the killing of rat by the cat is governed by the Divine Law, inlaid and inherent in the soul of the cat. She is not responsible for the act of killing the rat as her, action is governed by the instinct' inlaid and Instilled in her very nature by the Divine Law!

But the case of Human Being is different. He is made in the 'image of God and is invested with unlimited intelligence, reasoning and freedom of thought & with which to discriminate between good and bad, virtue and vice, and to regulate his thoughts and deeds accordingly.

Man is inclined to forget God and his Law, and act as a sovereign entity, independent and separate from his Creator.

Consequently, Man is the only creature who comes under the spell of illusive 'Maya' in which his False Ego is generated, developed and inflated and his life is entirely galvanized and governed by consistent assertion of this False Ego- through the expression of 'I', 'Me' and Mine, forgetting his creator- ‘God' and His Divine law.

Owing to his conscious Egoistic thinking and actions, he comes under the ‘Law of Karma’ As you sow, you reap.

In fact the entire process of this 'Divine Law' or 'Divine Will' is carried out, and runs through the Vast Divine Cosmos:-

w/o outside interruption w/o outside volition

The Divine WILL is:-

unerring precise meticulous

running through, and governing the Vast Cosmos, emanating and projecting- God's WILL in every particle, and working silently, mysteriously and Invisibly in the infinite process of: -

maintaining

sustaining

harmonizing

beautifying in integrating, dis-integrating, re-generating

all lives in the Vast universe.

The cosmic world is the materialization and manifestation of the Divine WILL and is governed and directed by the continuous flow of its incessant activity.

Being in-effable it is beyond the understanding and grasp of human intelligence and reasoning.

It can only be realised and experienced in our consciousness by Intuitional Insight in the depth of our souls, with the guidance, help and blessings of the Guru and the Sadh Sangat.

This Divine Current is governed by the all-engulfing, benevolent Divine Law or Divine WILL, which is Inherent and in-laid in every soul and is working secretly, inforceptibly and invisibly in the life of every particle of the universe.

But under the spell of illusive 'Maya' and consequent false sense of 'Ego' - we humans, have become ignorant of this incurring, all engulfing and benevolent Divine Law; whereby we have become subject to the Cosmic Law of- “As you sow so shall you reap."

It is all a matter of change or transforming of our consciousness :-

FROM- illusive false egoistic conception, TO- the consciousness of all - engulfing, benevolent, magnanimous, kind, loving, blissful Divine Law. To attain this exalted state of consciousness- it is imperative to turn our thoughts in ward by contemplation and meditation on the Divinity, GOD and HIS DIVINE LAW.

In this very difficult subtle and sacred process of mind, heart and soul, help guidance and blessings of Illuminated Souls-God-man is essential.

This is the direct way of introduction of an inspiring soul into the spiritual intuitional Wave length of the Divine Realm, from which all manifestations emanate, and are governed by the Divine Law - under Divine grace and glory.

But such True Illuminated Souls are rare and far between, and can hardly be recognised or identified!

We think and act, according to our own whims and moods, but when results go wrong, we-conveniently pass on the onus of our omissions and commissions to God's Will. This is stark ignorance and blasphemy of human mind. However, if our schemes and efforts are successful, we proudly claim the credit for the success, thereby feed and boost our false ego.

Divine Will is the sublime, secret, invisible, subtle, benevolent, vibrant activity of Divine -Power, Grace and Love, operating throughout the cosmos to :-

maintain

sustain

beautify harmonise integrate disintegrate regenerate the value universe it is obvious that the main cause of our Egoistic belief, is the influence of the company we keep-which can make or mar the fate and destiny or our lives. This illusion or misconception of our false Ego is engendered in our mental consciousness, through the baneful company of low, depraved and ungodly elements.

Therefore it is apparent that sublimer company is imperative and essential for the change or transformation of our consciousness. In other words-transformation of our thoughts, beliefs and conceptions can be brought on the mental and spiritual plane only.

In this subtle and sublime process of transformation of consciousness-personal contact, company and guidance of illuminated Souls is very helpful and beneficial.

When this transformation takes place in our consciousness-our Soul is awakened and illuminated with the Divine Light, and the darkness of our egoistic illusion spontaneously evaporate-just as the darkness fades away on the rising of the Sun.

In our ignorance and dilemma of false ego we are not aware of-

better, sublimer,

freer, joyful,

blissful, loving,

Holier,

Real Kingdom of God,

where there is no darkness

no ignorance no illusion

no sorrow no pain

no suffering on fear

no desire no hatred

no strife no Satan

no Hell

joyful blissful

kind Kingdom of God-is yours by

inheritance

without claiming

just for the taking!

In fact, the gene of Ego, originated-when the Divine nucleus was encased in the false idea of 'I', due to ignorance.

This separate identity of encased 'Divine Ray', will continue its individual existence in our consciousness, until the encasing cage of ignorance is pierced and destroyed, and our Divine Ray is attain merced into the effulgent Divine Light.

In other words, we have to change, re-orient and transform our false sense of Ego'

From 'I', 'Me' and Mine' To-Thou and Thine' in our consciousness-by constantly remembering, contemplating meditating, entertaining, nourishing, developing.

1. our belief and faith in the concept of the benevolent and loving God, to develop protect all lives in this vast universe.

2. Living and having our being in the grace of God's Eternal Kingdom of Kindness and love,

3. moving, acting and living "in tune' with the Divine WILL.

This Transformation of Consciousness constitutes and involves:-

1. Inner Intuitional experience of the soul.

2. vibrating thrill permeating through body and mind,

3. intoxication of Divine Bliss,

4. equisitive joy of Divine Touch,

5. Infatuation of Celestial Music,

6. secret and sacred Divine Flame of LOVE,

7. ecstasy of Divine LOVE,

8. basking in the cosy warmth of Divine Sunshine,

9. living and having our being in the Divine glory,

10. enjoying the be-witching and captivating Divine Beauty,

11. sweet caresses of Divine Grace,

12. soothing peace of Celestial Silence,

13. thinking acting and living INTUNE with the flow of His Kind, Benevolent and Loving DIVINE WILL.

14. realizing the glory of Divine LIGHT,

15. enjoying the sweet equisitive Fragrance of Divine Presence,

16. living the Eternal Universal Vibrating Religion.

Human mind is unconsciously and incessantly weaving and shaping his own good or bad world within and around himself by his own thoughts.

Every thought-good or bad-emanating from the mind-send subtle vibration all over the Universe, through electric waves, which re registered in the infinite and perfect Universal computer of ETHER.

Thus, billions of thoughts- emanating every moment-from the minds of the whole Universe, are being registered and processed.

The cycles and wavelength is of various hues and kinds of subtle vibrations accumulate and shape the environment of the Universal Mind, just as in the case of human mind and subconsciousness.

In Bus subtle cosmic process, our thoughts have profound influence to :-

1.     Directly shaping our character, fate and destiny

2.     Indirectly moulding and modifying the subtle environment of the Universe.

3.     Recoiling back on the whole humanity-collectively.

In fact every thought is a dynamic Seed, which sprouts and spreads in the mental-world, and engulf the entire Universe, to make or mar our lives, according to the nature of our thoughts. This explains the tense and vicious environment of selfishness, pride, unrest, strife, jealousy, cruelty and wars-prevailing all over the world inspite of numerous professed religions and cults, and pious efforts of August institutions like UNO etc.

God created a Heaven for his children-to live and enjoy it. But we prodigal sons of Earth-have turned it into Hell, and created a vicious rendezvous-under the influence of our baser and depraved thoughts, and degenerated moral values.

Dynamic cultivated thoughts are so powerful that they are capable of modifying the cumulative results of our present and past lives. They are so insidious and permeating that they can have profound effect on a future lives as well.

The sound of a particular wavelength is caught and relayed by any radio set, tuned to that particular wavelength, Similarly wavelength of acquisitive, intense feelings and emotions of subtle thoughts a caught, perceived and conceived by our 'mind-radio-tuned to that particular wavelength anywhere is the Vast cosmos.

This means that cumulative result of our good or bad thoughts are registered in the ETHER, and caught and conceived by any mind-radio-whenever and wherever it is tuned to the particular wavelength of that original thought.

Similarly, the current of a singular thought-passes through all the 'mind radio-tuned to that particular wavelength.

This explains why drunkards and villains, of noble and pious people, are attracted and joined together, proving the idiom-Birds of the same feather flock together.

We are daily witnessing this principle in our Audio-Visual process of electronic science.

Thus, principle of attraction and commitment on the same wavelength is working invisibly and Imperceptibly throughout the universe, even beyond the …………and subtly affect our mind process, shape our environment and relationship in the next life.

Influence of our contact with/and company of this 'sounding world, and our inner-profound thought, world-wide in mending and changing our thought beliefs or consciousness, which form the basis of our good or bad lives, fate and destiny. In other words the important and crucial point is Influence of the company we keep that can make or mar the fate of life, therefore it is obvious that a sublime Inspiring vibrating, living company of essential grafting and transformation in our thoughts, conception and, faith can be brought only through the company of awakened, illuminated and bless souls.

When this transformation our consciousness take place, our soul is awakened and illuminated with the Divine light and wisdom, attained the darkness of false egoistic Illusion spontaneously fades away, just as the darkness of night faded away on the rising of the sun.

It is a matter of substitution of darkness with light, and not its destruction.

If we desired and aspire for higher, nobler, healthier and happier life, it is essential that, first of all we avoid, discard, forget or brush aside our baser ideas and thoughts at once, as soon as they sprout in our minds, and at same time replace or substitute them with higher, nobler, Inspiring thoughts, by invoking the help and guidance of the Guru's Grace and seek and imbibe sublime inspiration of Gurbani and holy company of awakened and enlightened soul.

 

Extract from Lekh 34, Jeevan Roop Simran Prabh Tera, ‘God Your Remembrance is the Current of Life’ :-

If we desire and aspire for higher, nobler, healthier, life- it is essential that first of all we avoid, discard, forget or brush aside our baser ideas, and thoughts at once, as soon as they sprout in our minds and, at the same replace or substitute them with healthier, nobler, inspiring thoughts, by invoking the help and guidance of Guru’s Grace and seek and imbibe sublime inspiration of Gurbani and holy company of Awakened and Enlighten Souls.

If these depraved thoughts are not forgotten or diverted in the first instance-and are entertained and cultivated, they percolate and penetrate deep into our mind and subconsciousness.

Gradually, in course of time, they become insidious and powerful to enslave us, making our lives un-happy, corrupt, depraved and miserable.

Fasten on WORD, “Mantar to your heart. Let the WORD go with you in your daily work and daily life. THE WORD will keep you awake. In case of doubt, temptation, or trouble, answer it with this one WORD. Repeat the WORD until it penetrates your heart and soul, and you ‘hear’ it in your heart, ‘see’ it in your integral intuition, and feel and enjoy its ‘bliss’ in your soul.

Thus your ‘whole being’ is gradually transformed into this ONE WORD, which will vibrate and thrill every cell of your physical body, exhilarate your mind, and infatuate and intoxicate your soul.

 

Extract from Lekh 38-45, Atish Duniva Khunak Naam Khudava, The World is Aflame, Cooling is the Name of the Lord':

The personal contact of company is the easiest and quickest way of conveying thoughts and influencing others. The effect of such influence of thoughts is depend ent on the intensity and conviction of one's feedings on the one side, and the receptibility and conductivit of the other mind. Hence, persons of developed minds with deep conviction and strong faith, can influence and infect weaker minds-with their dynamic thoughts and conviction.

Where vocal exhortations and intellectual propaganda fail to leave any sustaining mark on the minds of the audience or congregation the very presence of a dynamic and enlight ened personality can siently and unconsciously inspire and transform the lives of individuals, with their penetrating volatile Spiritual Vibrations and rays-constantly emanating from their higher spiritual souls. The same principle applies to hypnotism and mesmerism, and to the intuitional writings of great souls, which are ever fresh, original and soud-stirring expressions from saints, sages or "god-men."

If cultivated powerful mind can affect the ordinary mind so deeply on the mental and emotional plane-the Illuminated Divine Soul can also inspire, awaken and ignite the aspiring souls and wher them into the Suble Intuitional plane as well. If the Laser rays can penetrate through thick metals and the radio-active rays of nuclear bombs cas do so much havoc on the physical plane-the volatile spiritual subtle rays of Divine.

Vibrations-emanating from the dynamic personality of a god-man can also pierce the thick walls of materialistic ideas and intellectual conceptions and touch the subtle fringes of the soul of the aspirant, and thus usher him into the Divine Realm, and change his worldly consciousness into Divine Consciousness.

Thus, the silent volatile rays of Divinity, can transform the life of an aspiring soul into Spiritual Life having been re-born into the Divine Realm.

This is the direct way of introduction into the Divine Realm, but the difficult part of it is to find a Truly Illuminated soul-as they are rare and far between.

In other words only the illuminated Souls can uplift the soul of the Aspirant from Worldly consciousness to Divine Consciousness, and thus save him from the burning hell of worldly quagmire.

Our so called beliefs and faiths are based on flimsy dogmatic mental ideas and hypothesis, which change from time to time-according to outer circumstances, and have NO ROOTS in TRUE ETERNAL changeless FOUNDATION of DIVINITY.

Our intellectual approach to outer dogmatic religion-can at best, take us to the outer courtyard of Divine Realm, but is unable to introduce and usher our souls into the Inner Mansions of God's Kingdom.

Man is incessantly weaving his own good or bad world, inside and around himself, by his own thoughts, like a silk- worm; and suffers the consequences of his own thoughts and deeds, thereby creating his own fate and destiny.

Influence of our contact with, and company of the surrounding world, and our inner thought-world, have profound affect in moulding or changing our thoughts, beliefs or consciousness, which form the basis of our good or bad lives, fate and destiny

It is obvious that the important and crucial point of our Egoistic Lives is, INFLUENCE OF THE COMPANY we keep. which can MAKE OR MAR the fate of our lives

Therefore, it is apparent that sublime Company sadh sangat is imperative and essential for change or transformation of our consciousness.

This transformation in our thoughts, beliefs and conceptions, can be brought only through the ‘company’ of awakened, illuminated and blessed souls.

When this transformation of our consciousness takes place, our soul is awakened and illuminated with Divine Light and glory, and the darkness of the false egoistic illusion ("a") spontaneously FADE AWAY-just as the darkness of night fades away on the rising of the SUN.

It is a matter of substitution of darkness with light and not destruction of darkness.

Concentration and repitition develops power in our thoughts and actions.

Every thought that passes through our mind leaves an indelible trace-amongst the million cells of our brain. These traces are unconciously and constantly accumulating in our mental computer-which affect and shape thoughts, conceptions and faith. Their sum-total is manifested in our habits, character and personality.

90 percent of this PERSONALITY is made-up of and dependent on, our inner mental, emotional and spiritual qualities. Only 10 percent is attributable to outer features and factors.

Everything we do-makes it easier to do the same thing over again. This is because-electric currents record all that happened to us by creating path-ways or grooves-among the cells of our Brain. The more frequently thoughts and actions are repeated, the deeper and broader the grooves become!

Every smallest stroke of Virtue or Vice, leaves behind 'never-so-little scar on our mind-good or bad."

The drunkard excuses himself for every fresh dereliction by saying 'I won't count it this time. Well, he may not count it, but it is being counted 'none-the-less', in his Mental Computer! Down among his nerve-cells and fibres-the molecules and electrons are counting it, registering and storing it up, to be used against him when the next temp- tation comes !

In other words, Man is incessantly weaving his own good or bad world around himself, by his own thoughts and deeds; thus shaping his own Fate and Destiny.

Thoughts have tremendous powers, which can be developed to un-limited degrees by repetition, contemplation, concent- ration and meditation

The lower depraved thoughts should be forgotton or brushed aside at once, as they come, by diverting the mind to higher, nobler and inspiring thoughts. If these depraved thoughts are not forgotten or diverted in the first instance, and are entertained and cultivated-they percolate and penetrate deep into our mind and sub-consciousness. Gradually in course of time, they become insidous and powerful to make us corrupt, depraved and vulgar-with a trail of lower elements of selfishness, envy, prejudice, avarice, jealousy, hatred, anger, egocentric, aggressive, wicked and cruel, and what not!

Our personality is the cummulative essence of our past and present thoughts and deeds, which is incessantly changing by the colour of our thoughts and deeds. This means that we are ourselves the architect of our present personality, and moulders of our own fate and destiny-for good or bad. The cummulative essence of our past Karmas-stored in our sub- conscious mind, is characterised in our personality, and is very powerful and dynamic. Our sub-consciousness, consis- tantly cultivated and potentised in our past and present lives, has great power in controlling and modifying our thoughts and deeds of this life, for good or worst.

The easiest and quickest way

1. To get out of this vicious circle of depraved and harmful thoughts, and

2. to save ourselves from the horrible consequences of these Vicious thoughts.

IS

1. to replace and substitute them with higher nobler, inspiring thoughts.

2. to divert our mind to sublime contemplation and meditation, and

3. to seek Awakened and Enlightened Souls and imbibe sublime inspirations in their holy company.

It is really difficult and tardy to adopt and work the REVERSE process of New Course of nobler life-but it becomes easy and smooth in the company of illuminated and Enlightened Souls.

As the Reverse process takes place in our life, our mind is gradually purified and spiritualised in the Sadh Sangat, and become amenable and conductive to the sublime influence of subtle vibrations of Divine Light and Grace.

At the same time the influence of materialism is imperceptibly reduced and eliminated from our consciousness.

The more our thoughts are spiritualised by sublime company and meditation-the more they become subtler, powerful and dynamic with reflections from Divine Light and Grace.

Ultimately, when our souls are awakened and illuminated by the grace of the Guru, we, in turn, become channel or Pipe-line for the

1. Outward flow, and

2. Expression of all Divine attributes of JOY, BLISS, LOVE, and grace, thereby inspiring, helping and guiding other souls.

 

Extract from Lekh 53-54, Dharan Ya Mazhab, 'Religion':

Motivating feelings behind our actions are More important and valuable than the Action itself.

As you think so you become

Our intellectual knowledge can take us-at best, to the outer courtyard of Divine Realm and no further.

Only Intuitional Divine knowledge can introduce us into Divinity.

Divine Intelligence is complete, perfect, all-engulfing, sublime Light and knowledge-from which our little brains derive light and knowledge.

This Divine Knowledge-being the mother of all intelligence is the only knowledge worth learning and acquiring, all other knowledge and attainments are mere reflections of this Divine Intelligence.

The tremendous mental and scientific developments manifesting in the universe-is not the product of human intelligence alone. In fact these developments are the indirect reflection of Inner Spiritual Light and Knowledge.

All worldly religious knowledge is the means to, and not the fulfillment of the soul.

This inner experience of Divine Intelligence can only be perceived or realised by the insight of the Soul-called "Intuition in the sublime company of Awakened Illuminated Blessed Soul

 

Every leaf, stone, flower-in fact every particle of the Cosmos is an open illustrated religious scripture-containing hidden sermons of Divine Light and Knowledge, but the limited human intelligence-engrossed and galvanized with materialistic knowledge is incapable to comprehend and realise the Secret and Sacred Divine Knowledge-hidden deep inside these natural "Scriptures of Divinity!

It is a pity that, with all the intellectual knowledge, scientific achievements, boastful modern civilization, and surfeit of religions and religious knowledge-humanity has not improved morally, religiously or spiritually. In fact, humanity has deg erterated in all aspects of life, and is suffering from Moral crises!

It is quite obvious that humanity is unconsciously heading towards the abyss of mistry, self-destruction and hell!!

The process of transition of Soul, from Materialistic Consciousness, to the Divine Consciousness, is called RELIGION; thus:-

to enjoy the bliss of Divine Grace & Love, and to be merged & Lost in DIVINE Love is the ultimate goal of RELIGION and fulfillment of Soul.

 

Extract from Lekh 55, Mazhabi Tuasab, 'Religious Prejudice":

When our minds are galvanized and aggrandized with wrong religious dogmas and convictions-we become 'bigots' to the point of fanaticism. Thus, when our 'Ego" puts on the Robe of Religion woe to the Humanity! It plays havoc with the Humanity and makes a 'mockery of Religion In our blind religious zeal, we have perpetrated untold sufferings and cruelty on humanity in the name of Religion, and crucified many Godly saints and prophets.

 

Extract from Lekh 58-66, Shabad, 'Word-less Word":

The more our thoughts are concentrated and condensed, the more they become powerful and dynamic, with which psychic phenomena or divine miracles are performed.

Fasten this ONE WORD to your heart. Let the WORD go with you in your work and daily routine.

The WORD will keep your spirits awake.

In case of doubt, temptation or problem-solve it with this ONE WORD.

Repeat the WORD until-

 

it penetrates your body,

it infiltrates your mind,

it permeates through your heart and soul,

your 'self' is possessed by it,

you hear it with your heart and soul,

"feel" it in your Intuition,

enjoy its bliss and joy in your very being",

"bask in the cosy warmth of its sunshine",

get lost in its glory,

 

and...

and your whole being gradually becomes an 'embodiment of this ONE WORD.

Everyone has different understanding and conception about the Divine Essence" i.e. Wordless 'WORD', based on changing Intellectual knowledge and personal experiences.

But, when the "Divine Essence' is intuitionally realised and revealed in our consciousness, by the Grace of the Lord, it comes as a shocking-surprise, because it is so different and contradictory to our established life-long hypothesis and cherished beliefit. The effulgence and glory of the Divine Essence of Wordless 'WORD' is 50:-

startling

awe-striking

thrilling

charming

captivating

be-witching

infatuating

intoxicating.

that the soul transcends the worldly consciousness, and is overwhelmed and lost in the ecstasy of Divine Bliss and Joy.

In this revelation of Divine Enlightenment, the soul forgets the materialistic World and its intellectual theoretical knowledge and philosophies-which it has imbibed and cherished in the materialistic consciousness, through the ages.

On the revelation of Divine Essence' the soul is ushered into the Divine World and is 're-born' In the glory of "wordless WORD.

God is one, the omnipresent, the omnipotent, the omniscient, who is best reflected in this cosmos through his 'SHABAD', 'WORD', 'LOGOS', or 'NAAM. The entire universe exists, and is being sustained by this SHABAD, which is the essence of Divinity.

 

Gurbani that descended down to man and mankind, through the Body called Guru Nanak', was this very "SHABAD-ETERNAL', whose visible forms may vary, but ESSENCE remains the same.

The meditation on this SHABAD alone will lead us to the inference that there is in this creation, only ONE GURU- the dispeller of the darkness of ignorance, and harbinger of the Light of knowledge.

The more we meditate upon His SHABAD, and contemplate on His qualities, the more we enjoy His presence and BLISS.

Thus, SHABAD is the Supreme GURU of all, and revealer of the Divine REALITY.

This Shabad GURU has only :-

1. ONE SERMON to preach to all humanity,

2. ONE KNOWLEDGE to disseminate,

3. ONE LIGHT to show the way out

It is all ONE, the only ONE and the SAME EVER.

It is for all, above caste, community, clime and country, it is as much for the masses, as for the classes.

Guru Nanak's WORD or Gurbani is meant to enlighten and illuminate the entire mankind.

Let it be made very clear that the 'WORD' or 'SHABAD is the ONLY ETERNAL GURU-beca use it alone is capable of removing the darkness of ignorance, being itself Prakash

SARUP' or 'DIVINE LIGHT".

Remember-

SHABAD is PRAKASH-SARUP, and

PRAKASH is SHABAD-SARUP.

Therefore, our PSYCHE or SURAT is to be attuned to this "Shabad":-

SHABAD GURU-SURAT DHUN CHELA, or SURAT-SA BAD PRAKASH.

The NIRAKAR expresses HIMSELF through HIS SHABAD, in order to enlighten the whole humanity, and in the process, becomes mankind's GURU, the ONLY GURU, the SAT-GURU:

'AAD-ANT EKAY AVTARA, SOI GURU SAMJHIO HAMARA.

Know ye HIM and HIM alone, to be our GURU, the Dispeller of the darkness of ignorance.

We, wise ones, tend to limit the UNLIMITED. THERE we err.

So, the urgent need is to become 'introverts', seeking the Supreme within the centre of us, the core of us, the remotest recesses of our heart. Right-about-turn and inward march, deeper, deeper, deeper, down to one ABSOLUTE.

What we call Religion', is, in a sense, two-pronged or two-faced or aspected.

One aspect of it, is the outer' aspect which we term as "karm-kand" (ritual). But it should be remembered that this "karm-kand' was never meant to be an end in itself.

It is only a MEANS to an END.

The other aspect is to enter within, and that is the END.

For, only when we end in the ULTIMATE, do we begin to LIVE for ever.

 

If the 'karm-kand does not take us to that END, it is useless for us, for, its only object is to :-

motivate,

inspire,

impell,

propell,

compell, and

drive

us to dive deep within, deeper and deeper, till we arrive at the ULTIMATE DEPTH, the NIJ-GHAR, own Divine HOME.

Just to teach us the technique of turning inward, GURU NANAK toiled, taking ten different BODIES, and two and a half centuries to drive the lesson home, this lesson of returning HOME, by putting us in direct contact with the "SHABAD

How much did we heed then and how much do we heed this lesson now!

Does or does not our honest answer put us to shame- burning shame ?

And that is the tragedy:-

-with our entire being,

-with the entire fabric of our society,

-with our leaders in the political field,

-with our leaders in the religious field, and more with them, than with any other.

The JYOTI or the Prakash that impelled and propelled the 'SHABAD SARUP BODY-named NANAK', and the BODIES that followed, now dwell in Sri Guru Granth Sahib.. Thus, this is the eleventh BODY-that NANAK abides in, and resides in. This Holy Granth Sahib that we see here, is the embodiment of the JYOTI the PRAKASH-the self- effulgent LIGHT ETERNAL, the SHABAD, and is worthy of worship.

 

Therefore, it goes without saying that this SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB is the Sum-up of SHABAD-PRAKASH. and will ever LIVE, survive and surmount all winds and Whirlwinds, and all the onslaughts of the diabolical forces of darkness.

This LIGHT will out-light all darkness, and out-shine all lesser lights.

We have to meditate on this SHABAD, imbibe it, by turning inward, become, INTROVERTS (Antar-mukhi).

For, then alone, will the secrets of Shabad or Gurbani be revealed to us.

This "SHABAD-GURU is ever with us.

Just we don't care, and

we don't want to be bothered!

We have become what we were, before the advent of Guru Nanak. We now have a deaf ear or indifference for His Gurbani, the SHABAD GURU:

To understand and imbibe the DIVINE WORD, SHABAD, we have to make a "Right-about-turn", turn inward, guided by

Enlightened souls-Sadh Sangat.

Enlightened and Blessed souls can lead us on, deep down to the remotest recesses of the ETERNAL REALITY.

The learned ones expound and propound it in various and varied ways.

GOD alone is there, nothing else exists, except in name and form,

 

THE ULTIMATE REALITY is nameless and formless.

We have to:-

search,

find,

reach, and

realise

it in our insides within ourself by churning our 'self' within.

We have to search and realise the LIGHT or PARKASH of the SHABAD, which is all-pervading, eternal, vibrating and word-Less-WORD.

But the irony is, that we, like winter rats, have gone deep down into our dark holes obstinately refusing to receive LIGHT that is being beamed at us by BABA NANAK through SHABAD !! We sing Nanak's praises-but do not understand, value or practise His advice!

WHAT WISDOM !!!

And all this only because of our illusionary EGO!

We have carefully and confidently confined ourselves to a closed cage, like the cocoon of the silk warm, caught in an EGO-COMPLEX of our own making, quite oblivious of the Parkash within and without

Heading to the SHABAD-GURU" or "GURU SHABAD or GURU BANI is the ONLY WAY OUT to get out of this world of negative thoughts and materialism. I repeat, the GURBANI-WAY' or 'NANAK WAY of Shabad Prakash is the ONLY WAY to take us out of the darkness of ignorance, and keep us out of the maze of this muck, this mud, this quagmire of Egoistic illusion.

This sublime spiritual ART of 'SOUL SCIENCE' can be learned only in the University of Sadh-SANGAT ic. company of the Enlightened and blessed Souls-with Gurbani as our Guide and Text.

 

Extract from Lekh 68-77, Bharam, 'Illusion':

The more our thoughts are concentrated and condensed- the more our mind becomes powerful and dynamic, with which many psychic phenomena can be performed, such as:-

hypnotism

mesmerism

psychic miracles

black magic

witch power

mind reading

divine healing

jugglery

auto suggestion, etc.

These so-called mystic and supernatural phenomena are the outcome, exhibition and projection of concentrated and condensed thoughts and intense feelings good or bad. Therefore, they belong to the domain of 'Mind Power' only.

But in our ignorance, we have extolled these psychic phenomena and powers to a very high degree, thus giving them religious and spiritual colours!

But when we are tempted to use these sublime powers-

for selfish materialistic ends,

to feed and boost our 'Ego',

to exhibit spiritual achievements,

to entertain the curiosity of people,

 

to attract and allure large number of admirers and followers,

to exalt our religious or spiritual personality, to publicize our name,

fame and holiness',

we are degrading, disgracing, mis-using, spirituality and interfering in the natural Flow of Divine Life-Current. There- fore it is un-natural, harmful and sinful against the Divine Will.

We are so obsessed by miracles of psychic phenomena, that we fail to grasp and appreciate the Real Esoteric Wonders of Divine Bliss and Love, incessantly flowing through, engulfing and manifesting in every particle of the Cosmos. Thereby, we deprive ourselves of the awe-inspiring, thrilling, intoxicating, inner intuitional experience of Divine Grace.

To be engrossed in these physic phenomena is a great misconception and illusion on the path of spiritualism.

In our search for 'peace of mind"-we undertake many kinds of yogic exercises, such as:-

transcendental meditation

kundalini yoga

Inner peace exercises

Tantric science Occult

Self realisation courses.

But these yogic exercises can only take us to the empty space of 'Zeroness' or 'Nothingness', which gives us temporary relief from the maddening materialistic tumult so long as we remain in the meditative state of mind. As soon as we come out of these yogic exercises-we are again exposed to the baneful effects of materialistic world and loose our 'peace of mind.

In our ignorance and illusion we take this temporary "peace of mind as our ultimate spiritual goal, and are quite satisfied in this state of transcendental consciousness.

But these yogic exercises can only take us to the empty space of 'Zeroness' or 'Nothingness', which gives us temporary relief from the maddening materialistic tumult so long as we remain in the meditative state of mind. As soon as we come out of these yogic exercises-we are again exposed to the baneful effects of materialistic world and loose our 'peace of mind.

In our ignorance and Illusion we take this temporary peace of mind as our ultimate spiritual goal, and are quite satisfied in this state of transcendental consciousness.

Thereby, we deprive ourselves of the Real Blessings of Permanent, and Infinite

Divine grace

Divine love

Divine peace

Divine compassion ,

Divine heritage

Therefore, this conception about Peace of Mind becomes a great ILLUSION, and tremendous obstacle in the advancement of the soul towards the ultimate Divine Goal.
